                   All of our stylists are educated in the art of hair colour and the latest techniques in perming hair. The stylists  will work with you in developing a perm or colour treatment that meets your individual needs. Our perms are designed to add body and texture to your hair, with either a regular or specialty perm. We also offer a beautiful array of colours from the darkest browns and blacks, to the palest of blondes and the most vibrant reds. A consultation with your stylist is recommended prior to any perm or colour treatment.

                     Thermal Reconditioning is an innovative new service only offered at a few select salons.  It is a method that changes the texture of hair from curly to straight by using ceramic flat irons that heat the inner cortex of the hair to 180 degrees F. There are three main steps to the procedure. The first opens the cuticle with a thermal solution, the second heats the hair cuticle, and the third neutralizes and shrinks the cuticle into its new shape. The entire procedure takes approximately 4 hours, and the result is straight shiny hair that needs little brushing, is resistant to humidity, and stays perfectly straight even when wet.

You may ask how this differs from conventional relaxers. A relaxer uses only chemicals to straighten hair, this chemical is combed through the hair repeatedly until the bend is literally removed from the hair. The result of this procedure leaves the hair looking lifeless and dull. Frizz is never completely removed. With thermal reconditioning, the hair is pressed straight, removing frizz for the life of that hair. The result is shiny, silky, smooth hair.

Thermal reconditioning is never booked without a prior consultation to analyze the condition of your hair. It is not suggested for bleached or previously relaxed hair. This procedure can not be done on African-American hair, hair that is 50% or more highlighted, or hair that is over processed.

                   Our skilled makeup artists are specially trained to provide you with the latest makeup looks tailored to your individual taste. The makeup artist will first analyze your specific skin type and  your makeup likes and needs. The artist will then select cosmetic colours which best enhance your features and compliment your wardrobe and lifestyle. Makeup lessons are also provided to teach you at home makeup application.

                  Our philosophy for a total body approach to beauty does not stop with hair and skin, it also includes nail care. Nail treatments are also an excellent way to pamper yourself.
